• And people wonder why I have never been confirmed as a catholic despite being baptized in the historic St. Paul Cathedral in Minnesota. Just 1 more reason...

  • Being born, raised, baptized, and confirmed Catholic, doesn't affect my thought process. Also, the fact that I don't attend church, or blindly abide by church doctrine, prevents me from being a sheep.
    If it were my choice, this pope would be sent to prison for putting the people at risk.

    • I usually go for wedding & funerals, so it's when friends or family are being married or buried.

• What this stupid Argie can't seem to grasp is that treaties with muslims are worthless. A muslim regime will enter a treaty with us "infidels" only when it is temporarily advantageous to do so. The muslim party uses the time bought by the treaty to weaken the non-muslim party. There are islamic teachings which define how to exploit such treaties and which strictly limit the time during which a treaty with non-muslims may be respected.

  If circumstances propitious to the muslims arise at any time, the treaty will be cast aside. If, on the other hand, circumstances remain unfavourable to the muslim cause, the treaty may be extended, but always with the understanding, on the muslim side, that the treaty is only a means to an end, never an end in itself. By believing that any treaty with a doctrinally muslim entity can be permanent, or even lasting, the Vatican has proved itself naive, credulous and delusional.

  The trouble is that, for the most part, only the muslims have yet realised this.

• And the pope back in WWII did the same thing with the Germans.

  • The catholic church assisted in getting out many of the Nazi leadership after the war was over. All they had to do was make it to a Catholic church and from there, it was arranged.

    • My thoughts exactly. The Pope and the catholic church in general have zero use for the Jewish People. The fact that Jesus was a Jew somehow escapes the Pope, but then it appears common sense also escapes this Pope.

      • Godly righteousness has always escaped the popes.

• This pope is a communist and an arab sympathizer. He is anti Jewish and those who are practicing Catholics need to be worried.

  WWIII is fast approaching.

• It won't be long now before the 'Palestinian State' starts asking the Pope to help them obtain nuclear weapons in order to speed up the peace process.

  • Eliminating Israel isn't a peaceful solution.

    • Given the fact that islam overflows with cynical Doublespeak, few imams would have any trouble in considering the destruction of Israel to be "peaceful". It all depends on one's definition of "peace". The islamic definition of "peace" (as with its definitions of "human rights" and "terrorism") is nothing like anybody else's.

      Basically, Mohammed was Humpty-Dumpty (as envisaged by Lewis Carroll), with extreme megalomania and quite a few other manias on top of that.
