In the old USSR, he would simply be declared crazy because it's nuts not to love benevolent socialism.
Compared to whoever is really in charge now, Chavez was both competent and a moderate...
And, Obama is intently watching this, looking for ideas on how he can get away with the same thing.
I wouldn´t be surprised if Obama and many others are reading books by Anne Applebaum and Robert Conquest.
To a "normal" person, it would be anti-communist litterature. "Establishement" sociopaths on the other hand, angered by opposition to their plans, the looters raging at the producers will see instructions litterature, instructions they intend to carry out.
