I have the feeling I should be surprised by this, but surprisingly, I'm not.
The fact is, the shortage of toilet paper is due to the capitalist pigs who/whom are using more than one sheet per dump, creating a shortage. Here in the USSA, our benevolent dictator would appoint an asswipe czar to oversee the use of this commodity. This czar/czareena would have a staff of thousands (not counting all the hordes of assistant czar/czareenas or their deputies and asskissers er I mean aides). All TP will be issued by the government purchased at about $50.00 per roll from the company that makes the largest kickbacks to the party. (There will be cameras in every stall in the country. Anyone found to have taken a dump in the woods will be subject to 10 years in a Democrat/Union/Communist re-education camp. Ahhh the utopia of Democrat (read communist) rule.

I grew up in the sticks, no running water, and what we had to use in the old outhouse was abrasive. Pages out of the Sears & Roebuck cataloge or corn cobs for the most part.
It was a treat to visit my grand parents, they had water in their house, electricity and real toilet paper.
Maybe they should take Sheryl Crow's advice.
