I read somewhere that a child learns, and retains, more the first ten years of their life than they will learn, and retain, the rest of their lives.
To me it is very clear why the gooberment loves all the "early education" programs it promotes and stupid crap like this is a prime example. Get 'em young, indoctrinate 'em young, because that is what their young minds will remember best the rest of their lives.
This explains why the government tends to be so anti home schooling
And why they want to greatly expand Head Start and get their hands on them pre-K.
