You trumpet the (rather carefully worded) "poll" of a right wing think tank, comparing Obama's approval rating in 2011 to that of Bush in 2003, BEFORE the recession, BEFORE the nation knew about the faulty intelligence he'd presented to back "his" war, when ignorant right wingers believed the lie that war-on-credit could lead the nation to prosperity, and all that would be required of Americans was to go shopping and indulge themselves.
It's REALLY, REALLY important to you guys to believe that your illusions are popular, isn't it? And you're willing to glom onto any contrived propaganda, to hang on to that illusion. Well, I guess it's any port in a storm. You have one of the most underwhelming lineups of candidates ever, and it's probably easier to keep screaming "OBAMA'S UNPOPULAR!" than it is to try to explain why you think ANY of them could lead our economy out of the ditch that your faux cowboy hero drove it into.

You just don't get it do you Ollie. Our country was attacked almost exactly 8 months after Bush was sworn into office. We "right wingers" do not blame him for going after terrorist organizations to keep them from attacking America again, we blame him for getting too politically correct and letting this crap go on and on. Kick ass, kill everyone who gets in the way until those left alive throw down their weapons and surrenders. I would say that stragety worked pretty well during WWII seing as how Germany and Japan are two of the most prosperous countries on earth, right along with us, the U.S. What has Obama done to get us out of this mess, to stop our young soldiers from getting killed and maimed for nothing? Not one damn thing.
As far as our economy goes child, it was headed to the toilet long before Bush was elected due to the policies Clinton signed into law when he was President. It takes years for that "trickle down" effect to happen after the federal government passes, then the President signs into law, bills that have an impact on our economy. Don't you get it? Nothing happens overnight! Presidents, politicians, they all say the same thing, "If this bill passes America will be a better place tomorrow". And it means nothing because none of them have the foresight to understand what their policies will mean in the future. All they are looking at is how many votes can I get by supporting whatever nonsense they are proposing.
The EPA running amok, federal and state regulations, all these things together are what is killing our economy. What is your Obummer doing about these problems? Nothing, he has added even more layers of gooberment oversight over businesses. An endless war, that is causing the deaths of even more American soldiers, that he promised to end after he was elected, and what has he done? Nothing. Our young are still getting killed or maimed in Iraq and Afganistan and for what? So all our politicians can prove they are "humane" instead of growing a pair of balls and show the world, again, what will happen if you dare attack us?
Finally, never believe any "poll" conducted by anyone. They are useless because nobody knows who answered the questions. A poll of 500 "likely voters" is a clue to what an America with a population of over 300 million people thinks? Open your eyes, read a history book or two, use your brain, make your own choices, think for yourself instead of following the liberal mantra, "The government will solve all problems." Government never solves anything kiddo, except how to line their pockets at our expense. That is a poll you can bet on.
