Washington health insurance exchange hitting people’s bank accounts. On top of stories across the nation about identity theft rings circling the exchanges like sharks around a bleeding tuna, now we have an exchange debiting people’s bank accounts weeks before it’s supposed to… sometimes twice. Oh, and the exchange has been down for two weeks so there’s no way for people to get their money back. There’s nothing like an unexpected $800 outlay right before Christmas to make you love Obamacare.

We have to pass it to see what's in your bank account would have been closer to the truth.
In a sane world, these ass-hats would be arrested, tried, convicted, and imprisoned; their ill gotten gains would be taken from them and their families and would be used to discharge the national debt, or some other such worthy cause. They and their families would be forbidden from running for public office ever again, including dog catcher, and if they or their families wanted to get belligerent, we'd just strip them of their citizenship and banish them to the turd world commie crap hole of their choice.

Here's a sci-fi scenario for you. Tell me how far away we are from this:
They mandate a "black box" in every car.
It knows what speed you're supposed to be travelling by tracking your location.
You're exceeding that speed.
The black box instantly informs the state.
The state instantly deducts the traffic fine from your bank account.
You reach your destination, check your cell-phone, and discover that you're now $400 poorer.
What do you think? Ten years until we get there? Sooner?
I think there first needs to be a "set-up system," whereby the foundation is laid by giving you something convenient and friendly. "Hey! Sign up for your department of licensing account! Your driver's license will be automatically renewed and mailed to you on time!" And we all say, "Gosh! Isn't it great to live in the age of computers!"

We got that online RMV here in Mass. already. The licence is good for 5 years, and I think you only have to go every other time now to put an updated photo on it. All registration & such can be done right on line, renewals anyway, I think you still need to show up in person for original work. But at least it isn't tapped directly into your bank.

The People for some reason accept laws and regulations that mandates that all of their boxed mailings are to be opened when The People go to the post office in order to be inspected just in case the people send out drugs or weapons (or something) through the mail. It is for The People's own good you know. Once the box and its contents are inspected no matter what it is, no matter how private, The People can seal the box in the presence of the postal governmental worker as good and obedient
