Watergate-Era Judiciary Chief of Staff: Hillary Clinton Fired for Lies, Unethical Behavior

• I remember a great line in a Reason magazine article about the Clintons back when "they" were president.

  Analyzing the accuracy or factuality of their utterances is pointless. Discussing the nuances of the meanings of words (such as "is") will get you nowhere. The ONLY thing you can ever glean from anything they say is

  "...it suits them more to say it than to not say it."

  The bigger picture is what their statements say about their viewpoint/attitude about all of us, the benighted masses.

  "I was named after Sir Edmund Hilary" (Hillary) may seem like a rather inconsequential, insignificant lie. "When I'm elected I will have a kosher kitchen in the White House" (Bill) may be taken in stride as the usual campaign rhetoric.

  What these lies indicate to me is a mind-boggling level of contempt they have for the general population. It indicates that they consider us to be unworthy of truth. They see themselves as so lofty and high-and-mighty that they are free to make our reality for us.

  It's sort of their own form of al-taqiyya.

  Come to think of it, that thought explains a lot.

• but she ranks pretty high on the "ambitious broad" list

• Proof positive that Hillary is where she is today - as a result of marrying Bill. By no means is she the sharpest knife in the drawer OR the brightest bulb in the pack.

• Some things never change it seems. Although you know you have to pretty bad to be fired for lying by a fellow lawyer.

• Why am I not happy or surprised to hear this fairly good news? Is it because she's not being perp walked in front of the cameras she loves so much; or, is it because the State didn't provide her with bling to match her new orange jumpsuit?

• Great story. Well worth reading.

  It's hard to believe now that there was a time one could be fired for that in DC. Change!
