We are living in an “ineptocracy”. “A system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.” Alfred E. Obama is the right man for the job, then.

Bonfire of the Absurdities: After 35 year career writing software for IBM mainframes, am now self-employed contractor thinking of joining a union and striking for higher wages. Cured morbid fear of heights when I learned to look at them as lengths standing on end. Uncompromising in refusal to accept browser cookies. Amateur investor who has accumulated a small fortune in the market after starting out years ago with a large one. For recreation, I run, hike, kayak and play tennis but will not consider synchronized swimming under any circumstances.

  • kakistocracy "government by the worst element of a society," Rule by the most inept AND corrupt of society. It isn't JUST ineptitude.

  • I recently heard that the most intelligent and brightest are IN the private sector - and anything left over (serving in government) is pretty much tarnished goods. Based on what is happening in today's world, I don't think anything could be further from the truth! We are now residing in a Total Ineptocracy.
