  • Good morning fellow haters! It's a beautiful day at the lake! A little chilly this morning standing on the deck and watching the sun come up but is warming up.

    JP and CO2, we need a say any damn fool thing you want thread. Got a couple weird news stories to share this morning and this is the only place I can think of.

  • When it happens those of us who cherish our freedoms will win. Why, because we understand what it took and takes to have our freedoms. The leftards will not know what to do. The mouthy millennials will only screech and try to talk tough. When it’s time to put up or shut up. They’ll shut up and cry to the government to “protect them”. Learn to take care of yourself. You’ll be just fine.

    • My Irish, English side of the family settled in what is now North Carolina in about 1765 or so. The Spaniard side of the family settled in northern New Mexico in 1740, or close to it. My ancestors fought in every war, conflict, police action since the Revolution. Some fought for the Union, some fought for the Confederacy. Others fought for Texas in their battle to free themselves from Mexican rule. WWI, WWII, Korea, had family who fought and some died. I served in Cambodia during the Vietnam fubar. Three of my cousins were chopper pilots, flying Huey's, and they made it home. Battle scared and wounded, but alive. Same as me, scared up but still here. One of my grandsons is a Marine, did three tours in Afghanistan but home safe now. One of my granddaughters is in the Air Force doing who knows what, she can't talk about it. The family tradition goes on, we are Americans and damn proud of the fact. And our "heritage" has nothing to do with it, just proud Americans doing what needs to be done.
