What’s Really Happening In Antarctica?

• The other day I was debating AGW with my brother in law. I hadn't seen him for a while but he is a lib who loves to talk about politics. Anyway, he brings up the 97% of scientists agree that the world is warming and it's our fault. I tell him that particular item is total bs and comes from a variety of ridiculous sources including a very seriously flawed paper written by a student, which all found its way to NASA.gov, where it has sat since 2009 (amended since but still a five year old page). Later I shoot him an email with numerous sources demonstrating the 97% thing is untrue. The reply: the NASA.gov page. Unreal. These people live within a feedback loop. No wonder arguing with a liberal is generally a waste of time.

• Don't worry when it is year round snow in Oklahoma City the totalitarian leftists will still be yelling and screaming about global warming.

  • Those idiots will still be shrieking when the 2 mile high glaciers move into Oklahoma City.

  So-- if I read this right I can conclude that if the satellite data been processed correctly then the ice would be melting as scheduled...? Apparently global warming has nothing to do with carbon emissions or methane- it's all a computer glitch. Cancel the carbon tax/credit industry and institute a global tax on Microsoft since it is clearly the software industry, which is categorically responsible for data processing, that caused the error that hss been melting arctic ice and drowning poor, defenseless, vegan free range Polar bears.

  ...and I thought Barack Christ Child, the Sequel declared the seance to be settled.

• When in doubt, keep fudging until the numbers work. Much of the US government is run the same way, so I'm not at all surprised.

• By the time they get "adjusting" the data, the politically correct narrative will be reinforced instead of contradicted. Welcome to the scientific method in a world run by progressives.

• The problem is that they only investigate data that goes against their story. Data they like, they don't question. I seem to remember a couple of years ago data showing that Siberia was heating up- and it was accepted as a sign of global warming until someone pointed out errors in the data. Then there is the complete BS about the Himalayan glaciers melting and they are so blind to their bias that they all accepted and cried about it- till it was pointed out that we were not going to loose the glaciers in the next twenty years or so.

  A true sign of a religious system of beliefs and not science.

  It's only confounding to those who come to the table with a predetermined outcome in mind. It's really that simple, & since the funding for this BS is tied to that predetermined outcome, the hoax will continue.

• A processing error? In other words the truth did not fit the narrative and we got to lie our way out of it..Climate Clingers strike again...
