Where have all the Democrats gone? “…Dems may be jumping ship from Obama in higher numbers than thought, especially if you are still registered a Democrat but now consider yourself an independent.” Like Obummer himself told the Blue Dog Democrats before they were put to sleep in 2010, “…the big difference is…you’ve got me.”

Bonfire of the Absurdities: After 35 year career writing software for IBM mainframes, am now self-employed contractor thinking of joining a union and striking for higher wages. Cured morbid fear of heights when I learned to look at them as lengths standing on end. Uncompromising in refusal to accept browser cookies. Amateur investor who has accumulated a small fortune in the market after starting out years ago with a large one. For recreation, I run, hike, kayak and play tennis but will not consider synchronized swimming under any circumstances.

    • Yea except we are going ass-backwards..the stupider these Kalifrnia voters get, the bigger the morons they elect....Just look at our Ass Clown Train engineer/Governor Jerry Brown.. I mean really? We couldn't find a road kill to vote for? Someone with a small piece of brain? Someone who hasn't crapped all over us before? I don't think any liberal in Kalifornia has had an original idea since about 1980.....And all we do is rotate political shitheads from one office to another, Like musical chairs for the criminally insane.

    • As it turns out the rapture happened and only people from New Hampshire were taken. The rest of us will have to endure 7 more years of Obama. Sorry to break the news :-(

        • Um, I was joking. I was going to go with "Here's another example of media blackout, half the people of New Hampshire die and the media refuse to report on it" but the rapture thing was better. It's hard to convey humor over the internet. If we were in person, you would hear the sarcasm in my voice and I'd probably be doing something stupid with my arms. Maybe I'd even break into dance, I don't know. It's the internet, I'm trying to do the best I can.

            A: I have no idea what approbation means.
