I guess I am screwed, I don't fit any racial class. I'm Irish, Spanish, English and a little Norwegian tossed in for good measure. I'm going to start a protest! From now on I want all of you here to refer to me as a Mick, Spic, Limey, Lapp American. And I want a day to celebrate all my ancestors!

Why must White/European "pride" be associated with racism? Yes the KKK and the Nazis and the like messed it up, but it doesn't necessary have to mean racism. Are Germans racist when they celebrate Oktoberfest? Are Irish racist when they celebrate St. Patrick's Day? If Black, Asian and Hispanics get to have their days and months SOLELY based on the fact that they look a certain way, come from a certain place and have certain skin tones, then I don't see why White people can have the same...
So get rid of the hyphenated months and days for everyone or allow other people to have it too and again it doesn't have to be a racist thing. White/European people have a lot that they have done in history.
Okay, let's review: if you're a member of a victim class, you can't be racist. Which is interesting, because a large percentage of Hispanics identify as "white" and and even larger percentage have roughly the same attitude towards blacks as the KKK.
Blacks and Hispanics get a whole month, what exactly is wrong with one day for White Folks? ...I know, I know there would riots in the streets, leftards holding signs about white privilege, Jackson and Sharpton asking for reparations, Illegals asking for welfare and EBT cards, and morons like those in Baltimore burning down more Asian and Black businesses to prove a point.

rather depressing that I didn't hear the obama's, or sharpton, jackson complaining or protesting about the United Negro college fund, Miss Black America and on and on...
