You have to remember, the UK was the original source for Mad Cow Disease so they have some mental issues percolating through the population. Unfortunately, there's no handy way to diagnose Mad Cow, so you have to wait until they start drooling, start losing their balance, or mention in a formal session of Parliament that they can save the planet by farting less - then you know.

Well- if cattle ranchers applied for carbon credits, trained their livestock to fart in tune then they could stage the bovine version of the Fed's climate change musical... if they used male members of the species then they could clean from the stage the literal version of what's being purposefully spewed. Two questions.
The "experts" say that the daily emission from a cow is 100 to 200 liters. Yet some "experts" say 500. Are they really experts?
At landfills, they have risers that collect the gas and burn it off. I don't know why they don't collect it, but it seems it's better to burn it than to just let it escape. So what they need to do is get some of these able bodied welfare recipients out there to light the farts. Problem solved.
You'd think fart smellers with college degrees could figure this shit out.
