They want to reduce the fear level, but they allow open boarders & won't set effective travel restrictions from west African nations effected by the ebola pandemic. In other words, The Regime is not serious at all about ebola, & it's all in the name of political expediency.
No logic to what the government has said and done if one assumes that protecting the public health is actually an objective. It all only begins to make sense if one begins to consider that they are deliberately allowing these wonderful new disease experiences to come into the country. In that sense it fits right into the big picture of criminally insane policies enacted by enemy combatants disguised as bureaucrats

Listen to the medical professionals who are saying the measures are bogus and nothing but a shame.
Hate to say it, but this isn't going to end well. These morons have done nothing to keep this disease from entering the country.
And, it's going just the way they want it to go.
After all, if a stranger wants to lure a child into the car he must sweet talk the kid and convice him/her that everything is OK.
Since I've seen no real effort to keep it out of the country, I have no choice but to believe that they want it here.

They'll fix it when they suspend the elections and institute martial law.
It will be "too dangerous" to go out and vote, but "keep shopping to help the economy"!
Is it any wonder this is all getting started just a month before the mid-term elections? Plenty of time to declare an emergency and have the UN take over running things until they can get it under control.
