• These two act like they bought a defective toaster at Walmart and the store won't take it back...What a couple of loons. You wanted a child, you get this cute little girl, and now you don't like the color? Both of them need appropriate "two by four" therapy upside the head. repeat as needed.

• These women don't deserve this lovely child. Most people wanting children will take anything, green and purple with pink polka dots would br fine for someone who REALLY wanted a child to love and nurture and raise.

• Okay I read this on the Blaze.

  My first reaction is that these "women" are racist disgusting pieces of sh*t.

  They wanted a white baby to reflect them both, to PROVE that they can have a child that reflect them both positively. A biracial child may not do that (somehow), however the child is PERFECT. So they are racists. Plain and simple.

  So this little girl is going to grow up KNOWING that she was a MISTAKE and that she was UNWANTED and that she was meant to be a pawn at the arrogance and disgusting behavior of two soulless and selfish women who wanted vindication for their lifestyle choices that are aberrant and abnormal. Disgusting all around.

  The child is perfect, put her up for adoption, I am sure she could find a perfect home. This is absolutely disgusting and I would punch both these b*tches down if I could.

• I can understand why these people would be upset as choosing a sperm donor can be for many reasons such as intelligence, success, specific physical genes (muscular build, etc) and things of that nature. The little girl seems to be cute and I'm sure is very sweet. Why would the parents attempt to upset her later in life by complaining about this? Can't this just be a lesbian "oops baby"?

  • Aren't we all oops babies? Isn't that the wonder and miracle of it all? I guess they think shopping for a baby should come with the same product warranty as shopping for a new toaster.

    • That is the thing... besides the blatant racism... they see the child as a product that they "bought"... Since they cannot send her back then they want others to pay for her because she didn't come out the way they wanted. So children are objects to these women. This is liberalism in a nutshell.

      They can complain that indeed there was a mistaken just to alert that this place may not be very on top of things like these that is fine, but they shouldn't sue nor make a big deal of the fact that they wanted a white donor... nowhere I read that they were happy in the end and just wanted to alert health authorities. It is disgusting.

      • I agree, KIMMY. They could sue the bank for negligence, etc., but that could be done . Privately, without making their daughter the center of a scandal. Get the money, put it away for her college fund and pick another facility for their 2nd go round. And I would stay in that neighborhood and raise my child. Woe be unto anyone who hassled her, regardless of her skin color.

      • I'm sure there is a wonderful family out there willing to adopt this girl. That should be done to make sure she has a great life. Then they should bar this lesbian couple from receiving sperm donations in the future.

• The little girl is way cute so they should be delighted. I can see where they might sue for a refund since the sperm bank goofed and didn't give them the right donor, but suing for "ongoing counseling" is a very bad idea. Court records are permanent. If their daughter ever learns that her parents were so devastated by her birth that they needed counseling, she'll be devastated herself.
