Whole Foods removes Obama chicken ad

Whole Foods removes chicken ad after complaints. The ad featured a man resembling Obama and some people were offended. “There are certain things that have been used to put down black people,” said nearby resident Woody Henderson. We’re guessing his lifelong search for excuses to be miffed started with the name “Woody.”

  • Nobody will be allowed to produce lampooning images of "Dear Leader", the commiecrats will be going after Syndicated Cartoonists next.

  • I wonder.... was the ad removed due to the controversy, or was the sale simply over? Also, I didn't read anywhere any admission by Whole Foods that the black guy on the ad was supposed to be Obama. Do all black people look the same to these racist left-wingers? Tsk tsk.

  • I see the word 'Chicken' written in chalk, but when I close my eyes it mutates from that to 'Cracker', then to just 'Crack' and then the bone he's gnawing on turns into a straight shooter full of sizzling rock and the price bubble turns into a cloud of smoke with Larry Sinclair's face obscured by it. Izzat wrong? I open my eyes and it all goes away. Whew! What a scary guy.
I just looked again, then closed my eyes and it was all the same except valium jarret appeared in the cloud of smoke this time! AaaaaaaaHhhhhh! Run away!

  • One person complained it was akin to putting a nude woman, spread-eagle, and having her sell something... I was like uh??? How is that even in the same high rise of similarities?

      • Ummmm Poppa - there are some women out there who are surely NOT beautiful undressed. I see some at the gym. But the ones who don't even bother to go to the gym are surely even worse.

Unless you meant theoretically. Like how having babies is beautiful. Until you actually see the birth of a baby who is not related to you. At which point you realize that childbirth is disgusting, slimy and uncomfortable.

        • LMAO!!
Of course I meant in the theoretical, look at TIPS, I posted a story about naked vegans, too many fat vegans.

          • Vegan is actually a very unhealthy lifestyle. If Atkins didn't make that clear, various studies have made it clear. Yet the myth persists that vegan is healthy. It's a mystery to me. My parents are both alive at 93 - Dad had eggs and bacon every morning throughout his working life and tried to eat meat with every meal.

          • A quick inspection of our teeth will tell any intelligent person that we were designed as omnivores.

          • It's because, as soon as no one is looking, they are off at the Taco Bell 2 neighborhoods over, shoving meat and fat down their gullets. They are LIB's hon. Hypocrisy is not only their middle name - it's their lifestyle!

  • And I thought they would have been offended by Obama being on an ad for something they would have to eat.
    Oh, Wait!
Whole Foods is from California, right?

    • Whole foods is run by a surprisingly constitutionally conservative-leaning man, who believes, whole-heartedly, in capitalism. I just found this out, and liberals are apoplectic over their Mecca being run by a capitalist. I've decided to shop there, even though I'm not into organic foods.

      • With this personal attack on the president combined with that tidbit of information, Mr. Henderson is probably on a drone list now.

        • Knowing his political leanings, I would make an effort to go to one of his stores when I am in the area, but might not want to do so now that you raised the drone point.

      • The only reason I ever shopped at whole foods is because it was right off the interstate on the way home, and it had a great beer selection..

        • You should go there for a meal. They're actually a damn good restaurant, with tables and everything. It's a giant buffet. You fill your plate and then get in line with the grocery shoppers and they weigh your plate. They've got stuff I've never heard of in that buffet.

    • Boy, I'm late to this party, huh? But yeah, it just crossed my mind that Popeye's seems to feature a black spokeswoman.
