No, you misunderstood. TV and radio stations said the DSCC has not canceled any ad time in Louisiana. Your problem should be with the hack and his unnamed sources at Politico...

Inability to confirm the Politico story does not mean it's untrue. Their sources might be better than yours. This story does not surprise me. Senate campaign finance committees never have enough money to go around and generally end up in debt by Election Day. Consequently, they're quite heartless when it comes to cutting off candidates. They cut off the Republican senate candidate here in Michigan a month before Election Day, essentially cutting her legs out from under her. Right now the DSCC is in the red, looking at digging out of the hole and starting fund raising for 2016. The last thing they want to do is dig the hole deeper by wasting money on a campaign that looks impossible to win. You have to figure the Tea Party guy's votes are all going to the Republican in the runoff.

JP, if the sales account execs for local media tell me, 2 of which I've known since childhood, that no one from the DSCC has canceled ads already slated to run in less than a week. I believe them. They have ALREADY PAID FOR THE AIRTIME.

You're playing semantics, the gist of the story was the DSCC said they're not going to fight in the run-off til they see how the DC living- lying liar is faring. Yes they paid for and ran the ads, but looks to me like she's on her own... if she even remembers where LA is...

The sale ad execs are the ones who sell the airtime for the ads. They know who has paid for media buys. Its contracted, and they would know if someone tried to cancel their ad time. But why would they….. THEY ARE ALREADY PAID FOR. If the DSCC is in the red, they certainly wouldn’t throw away hundreds of thousands of dollars for nothing.
I’ll drop you a line after the local Monday morning new shows and let you know which Landrieu ad runs…….and you will owe me a beer for having to sit through it!

The only way this is true is if the DNC is saving the money to print ballots for box stuffing, to hire people to go from prescient to prescient to re-register and vote, and hire buses to pick up crack heads to do the same.
So they are trying to save some cash for the trillion dollars it's gonna take to try to get Killery elected. Perhaps someone also told them the recount wasn't going well?
