Maybe the could put up signs along the side of the highway, "No Protest Zone." Red circle with a line through it, picture of a thug. Such zones have worked wonders everywhere else.
About time, the LEO's need to start telling these retards that they will be arrested for their own safety, because sooner or later a couple of them are going to get smushed due to "Brake Failure".

Police just need to borrow a few snow plows from the highway department...Hit the protesters at about 55-60 and clear them right off the road, and of course for safety reasons, have the yellow flashing lights on, but turn the radio up real loud so you don't hear the hit...
If this had happened in Albuquerque a few of these fools would be getting peeled off of the pavement with a putty knife. I didn't see them in the road is the usual excuse when a pedestrian gets run over in that cesspool even in bright sunlight.

I like the comment about kidnapping charges. Why they don't arrest all of them there I don't understand. These things are supposed to have consequences.

Shortly after the Rodney King Home Shopping Riots in L.A. I arrested a black guy for beating his wife,(broke her nose, broke her arm cause he didn't like the choice of dinner she picked out) once we got outside he fell down and starting screaming "Rodney King!! Rodney's King" and of course the neighbors came out, so the next time he Yelled Rodney King, I yelled Reginald Denny real loud at the top of my lungs, he got confused and the neighbors starting laughing, he then got up and walked to the patrol car very quietly.....
They should have all been arrested. Their protest was illegal and held in an illegal manner in an illegal place. The police should have been all over them from the start. They were holding people prisoner, this is thug/criminal behavior. How is this any different from rioters surrounding vehicles? They take people out of vehicles and kill them... she had all the rights to get out of this.

As I trained my limo drivers: KEEP THE CAR MOVING FORWARD NO MATTER WHAT. Even a slowly moving car is safer and less likely to be flipped over by a rioting crowd. If the car keeps moving even at 2-3 mph, it's exceptionally difficult for a crowd to co-ordinate enough people to turn it over, so KEEP THE CAR MOVING FORWARD NO MATTER WHAT. If they flip the car you have no escape and you'll have to start shooting to stay alive. This woman should not have had her window open either. Lock down the car and KEEP IT MOVING FORWARD NO MATTER WHAT. For good measure, I lay my .357 on the dash in plain view so that they know what's next if they get REALLY stupid. It's unlikely a jury of your peers is going to put anyone in jail for shooting a mob trying to attack you and you avoid having to shoot by KEEPING THE CAR MOVING FORWARD NO MATTER WHAT.
