Lived there in the 60s/70s as a kid. Sounds like the place is still a shithole. Sounds like politicians are still blaming the Americans for all of their own failures. Same ignorant populace still believing that lie. Our country is being driven in the same direction (socialism) by the democrats and the republicans don't have a clue how to stop them. It actually appears like they don't care to stop them.
Good to see the dollar gaining some traction as a currency that is desirable to hold in foreign countries again. Of course that was bound to happen once the socialist Euro experiment began to implode and slowly grind itself to death.
