This is what always happens with communes: the people doing all the work resent that some people do nothing but sit around and talk while still getting just as much to eat. In fact, that's what happened to the Pilgrims:
America’s first experiment with communism.
That is exactly what happened to all these idiot "communes" of the sixties. Anyone not totally stoned at the time could see that coming. Eventually more people were taking the free shit than contributing to the commune and they ran out of OPM. People seemeed to be surprised that it happened. Duh!
