• ps - the dude we got in return for those cuban spies looks like a proggy-ass POS. the second i saw his photo i knew this was a commie-to-commie exchange.

• if you read today's headlines in the NY Times, it would seem as if this decision was set in stone even before Congress passes any legislation for normalization of relations with Cuba. This apparently is to continue breaking down the will of the people by putting out false and propagating info in big bold headlines.

  nothing has been legally decided - but we don't need to worry about those little details when the world has been told something by our new messiah. well, he is, at minimum, a Moses, right? wow. what a silver-tongued devil.

  i wouldn't be quite as upset if his antics didn't involve inflammatory remarks by him and his friends and to the cost of the middle class. but this process is useful in that it "proves" how "hateful" his opponents are. it's a horrible smear campaign of the middleclass, not only here but all over the world. and people wonder why assholes like hitler show up out of nowhere. well, what's the difference between stalin and hitler, anyway? they were political bedfellows at one time.

  anyone in the future trying to reverse any of his crap afterwards is going to look bad. and they know it.

• Read several articles about this, it appears the Pope and some other folks were in "Secret" negotiations for this, so much for Transparency again...Biggest lie ever told. And I am really getting sick and tied of the Pope sticking his nose in everyone's business. There is a scene in the Movie 12 O'Clock High where Gregory Peck finds out the base Priest went along on a combat mission without authorization, Peck says, "As for you Padre, Your business is sin, I suggest you confine yourself to that theater of operations".....

  Really! I heard the clip on the radio. You can't make this stuff up. This coming from the poster children for doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. Does he even listen to himself?

  As for Cuba, this is the best thing for the people of Cuba. The more USA we can bring to that island the better. But that of course is not his plan. He thinks he'll prop up the commie despotism.

  One thing he and his gang will never comprehend is that regular folks have free will. Gorbachev didn't get it. He thought you could manipulate the masses by tossing them a couple of illusions of freedom. But it snowballed out of control. The same will happen in Cuba.

  • We will benefit slightly. Cuban cigars and rum will be available, but it will cost us a shitload of cash, because we will be rebuilding the country, and their healthcare system will be the model for Obamacare.
