  • I used to be very liberal minded and then I had to take care of my own damn self. I didn't have to be sixty to realize that being liberal with EVERYTHING is a bad bad idea.

  • I'm waiting for the Collaborationist Media to parody this as "I used to be a Negro." Sounds like something The Idiot Jon Stewart would say.

  • I used to be a democrat but I wouldn't say I was liberal and there were some presidential candidates over the years that I had to grit my teeth while voting for them, guys like Mondale, Dukakis, Gore and Kerry. I was always socially liberal(For the most part) and a fiscal conservative. That 2008 campaign changed that, TARP sealed the deal.

    Carson seems alright. There was one topic he discussed that I disagree with him about, although I can't remember what it was at the moment. I just remember it raised a red flag.

    I don't know, it just feels like whoever is out there, they all have their flaws, shortcomings and faults. Looks like lesser of the two evils in 2016 yet again. If the "right" runs someone I don't care for, which is likely, I'm not going to even bother voting. Shoot, someone from the DNC will find someone to vote for me anyway.

  • At least Carson is being honest, unlike most career politicians who are softer then a sneaker full of shit, and smell the same.

  • Dr. Carson is even tempered and unflappable. You cant be a neurosurgeon and be full of self doubt. At one time most were liberal in their thinking. Hells bells Winston Churchill was one as was Benjamin Disraeli.

    It was Benjamin Disraeli who said the following "A man who is not a Liberal at sixteen has no heart; a man who is not a Conservative at sixty has no head."

    Jebster is what ever he needs to be all based upon the way the winds are blowing when he sticks his finger into the wind, or when a donor sticks one up his ass.

    • I'd feel better about Carson's candidacy if he had a bit of Ted Cruz's knack for dishing it back at the propagandists posing as journalists.

  • Well Jeb still is a flaming liberal, he just pretends like Hollywood actors to be a conservative...And Trump is just as weird, with his ego is overdrive....I think he is still a flaming liberal but is getting paid to pretend he is a conservative by someone like Soros..Hey Throw the election our way and I will donate a couple billion to Trump Inc.

    • Spot on- though Jeb isn't the only one. I'm at a point where, until there's actual change, I consider the possibility that every single GOP candidate is a closeted liberal. We've been fooled a few too many times for me to invest too much faith in any one candidate. Our job as the base is in one way or another, to hold their feet to the fire once they've been sworn in.

    • HE can put on all the outrageously expensive designer WOMENS clothes, makeup and wear HIS hair long, HE still has HIS 'unit' and thus HE is a GUY.

    • I used to be a liberal too, but then Carter happened, and I had to try to survive, on my own, in his economy.

      • Same here. I was very liberal, thought Trickie Dickie got railroaded while veterans were getting screwed by the public and our government. Then, like you said, Carter came along. Ever since then, according to a few long time liberal friends, I have been an asshole. (snicker)

  • I would have no problem voting for this guy. The more I hear him, the more I like him. So, he hasn't held office. He is smart and I feel would surround himself with the right advisers and leaders in all areas government.
