  Brown - and the Democrats in charge - actually believe that, when faced with higher taxes just because they are "rich", the "rich" will stay in the state and take whatever Brown and Co. dish out. In Massachusetts, they raised taxes and the wealthy left in droves.

• Bankrupcy is the best thing that could happen to California, by starving the bloated parasite-state, massively reducing its means of causing shit.

  Problem is, 20 millions illegals would go east, not accounting the welfare leeches.

  Kalifornia is toast. When the rest of the country got sane, we voted in the worst of the worst. That was a tipping point that will never be recovered from without violence.

• Yes move away from Kali and bring the problems to other states. I go to visit my brother in once very conservative eastern Oregon and it now looks very similar to a Kali Kutesy village with all the same childish ordinances and regulation.
  The problem in Kali is very simple, democrats, unions and mexicans. One of our big complaints to the mexican illegal is, "why don't you stay and fix your own country rather than run away and ruin ours?" Well, guess f**kin what? Why don't we fix this once absolutely beautiful state and stop running away. Stop voting in all these idiot democrat environmentalist bleeding hearts and elect people with a strong conservative bent to bring this state back to what it once was, GREAT! Why doesn't the republican party quit running from fights and bring it here. I think you would find a very supportive, angry group at you back. The "Tea Party" gatherings were always hugely attended and pray for you life if you brought a liberal diatribe with you to the event. Let's fight for it, we are going to lose it all if we don't start to demand change. Dianne Fienstien is being challenged this year and where is the republican party to support our candidate? When B Boxer was challenged where was the Republican support for our candidate? Nowhere to be found. It can be done but it will take a fight, keep rolling over and we will lose it all!

  • You're right, Willy. I was born here, I love this place, I love the weather, I love the natural beauty. I vote in every election, I do what I can to help spread the word that liberalism is poison. As long as I can continue to earn my living here, I'll stay. Then, without taking ANY liberalism with me, I'll go to Texas.

• People should vote with their feet and flee California as it spirals down into Third World status. But please, if you move into my state, leave your California attitudes behind. We don't need your big government, environmental regulations, high taxes and a collapsing education system.

• The only reason I'm still here is the fact that all the events that I work for a living are here. Otherwise, I'd be in Texas.

• The article is right on the money, cities going broke, services cut, prison inmates getting out early, roads suck, businesses are leaving, and we have managed to elect some of the dumbest people on the face of the earth to run this shithole. Plus when you either live or visit here, you are over charged for everything from groceries to gas to toilet paper cause of the crazy friggin' rules and laws we have on the books, Kalifornia is Greece just before the shit hit the fan..Like the old cartoon said, "The End is Coming" (To Kalifornia)
