Someone at Good Morning, America had the bright idea of interviewing the Beach Boys. But no one bothered to find out what kind of drugs Dennis Wilson had been taking the night before. Or maybe even that morning.
The funniest part is how the rest of the Beach Boys attempt to complete the interview as if they don’t notice that Dennis was completely whacked out.

I actually saw that interview at the time.
Consequently, I wasn't surprised to learn of Dennis Wilson's death a few years later. He drowned.
What a lame set of questions -- is that Joan Lunden? She has the Princess Di hair, sweater and whole Sloan Stroller look wired. Brian Wilson, fightng his demons. Sad, they should have not let him go on air.
I wonder how many episodes of Dukes of Hazzard and BJ and the Bear were recorded on the tape before they put the interview on there.
Wow, that footage brings back some fond memories of VHS smear, noise, and chewed up tapes. Makes me want to pop in TopGun and relive the 80s.
