    Police said the other suspect is described as a black man who is 6 feet tall, weighs about 240 pounds, is clean shaven with short hair and was wearing dark clothes and a black backpack. Witnesses described the man as being out of shape and “overly friendly,” police said.

I have seen some of the posts from some of these idiots, an AK47 fires "47" bullets every time you pull the trigger, a Ruger 10/22 can kill 22 people with just ten shots..Complete and utter fools.

  Rosie ODonnell tweets that people who own guns should be in mental hospital being forced to take meds....Besides the fact she is an ignorant pig who can't step away from the buffet, what has she actually contributed to society?   One more thing, you want to live in a "gun free zone"...I'll go for that when you can guarantee to me that ALL criminals will abide by that rule.....Otherwise go to hell.

  • I have a niece that is one of these annoying libtards that insists on being preachy. She keeps posting PETA crap on her FB account, and I keep getting notifications about them. While I am against treating animals cruelly, every time one of these SPCA ads comes on TV, I change the channel because I can't stand to watch them and listen to the preachy crap. I have to wonder how many people have been so turned off by these ads that they refuse to send a donation. The latest crusade my niece is on seems to center around Wal Mart and the people that supply them with pork products. I don't know what the story is, but it appears that a bunch of Hollyweird lefties are involved. Like any of them shop for their own food, much less shop at Wal Mart!

• A well armed populace is a well protected and free populace.

• It's not that the idiots are pro-rape or want safer streets or anything else they may say or imply as being "obvious".

  Guns are seen as the guarantors of liberty by those who possess them. This applies to either the criminal or the law-abiding classes. They happen to have a lot of differences in their respective definitions of "liberty", but the basic function is the same.

  Those who consider it their anointed right and obligation to control the lives of others see guns as something that breeds a certain attitude that is most antithetical to gov't operations (that being controlling your life much more so than paving roads or making sure the sewage is not creating a health hazard - you know, the REAL public service type stuff). That attitude that the guv types find so offensive is epitomized by the bumper stickers that say things such as "... from my cold dead hands", or the signs you might see in an inner city business "forget the dog, beware of owner" with the 9mm staring at you from the picture.

  The guv types know full well that there are a lot of attitudes that must change in the population for them to be able to do their jobs (again, that being NOT the pothole-filling jobs). That operation was in full swing in China and Russia for the better part of the 20th century - re-education, they called it, eliminating counter-revolutionary ideas, etc.

  THAT is why they want - need, actually - to take the guns away. If a thousand, or ten thousand, or a few hundred thousand more women get raped, hell, that's just collateral damage. That's not even happening to actual people - it's happening among "the masses". And what's more, THAT can be used to exert even MORE control on "the masses".

• Nothing says no to a rapist like .357 between the eyes.
