How sad that liberals are so propagandized that they truly don't believe these women may be desperately unhappy because of their lifestyles. They only seem to have a white picket fence idea of the homosexual lifestyle which is usually not the norm.
It's yet another easy answer, I believe the correct technical term for why Lesbians drink so much is called "Beer Goggles"

4.2 Million spent on " lesbian studies".....And we paid for it..I don't care why they are fat, ugly or drink, and I sure as hell don't appreciate my tax money being spent on this kind of crap. I don't care if your gay or lesbian, what you do behind closed doors is your business, but when you become part of a money wasting plan to add more special treatment, you are nothing more than a freeloader. Too bad our country can't treat everyone equally without setting others ahead because of some "special condition"......

Well, if it weren't for the federal government doing all these lesbian studies I wouldn't be able to answer the headline question: they drink hazardously because 85% of them are obese.
See? There's the beauty in spending million$ to do a study.
