I love how paper pushers in Congress (who rarely if ever do a days work) think everyone can work until they drop. At 60, I feel every mile I walked in Hospital corridors, and every guerney (generally loaded with a 250+ lb person) I pushed into too small elevators, and rooms that barely left me enough area to turn around to leave. People who actually physicall WORK (wait staff, medical staff, plumbers, electricians, construction workers, factory workers, even teachers (getting on the ground with thos e 2nd graders is a pain. Literally.) are physically unlikely to be able to work at their career into their 80's. Not all of us write for a living, like Andy Rooney.
I think I've just adjusted my retirement plan to include Camels.
That, and the 650HP Mustang. You'll go quick in that, shouldn't feel any pain at all.
So many ask how the states are going to pay for all those baby boomers reaching retirement age, on both sides of the atlantic.
No worries, they aren´t going to be paid that much, pensions will be cut then cut again. That combined with inflation means the baby boomers share in the expenses isn´t going to be that big.
Even if every single individual abusing welfare was suddenly teleported to the Even Horizont universe, Obama, Cameron and Sarkozy would only take that money and pensions wouldn´t increase by a penny.
but that's only for people who have jobs, so, no worries for his biggest supporters in the 'occupy' movement...
