Although we by no means want to discourage Ms. Sarandon from her sudden and profound love of a strict interpretation of The Constitution . . . even if her first attempts are rather firmly absurdest. To this end we happily refer this weak thinker to Article One: Section 8. . . . as well as the Tenth Amendment.

Muzzle loaders were state of the art killing machines at the time. The Framers made no distinction regarding weapon type because the most modern arms were the obvious choice for the purposes of the enumerated right guaranteed in the 2nd Amendment; the people retaining the ability to suppress a tyrannical government. sarandon sucks effluvia with a fervor.
