Susan Sarandon: The right to bear arms was referring to muskets. Of course it was. Just like the First Amendment only protects “speech” rendered by technology no more advanced than the quill or the movable type printing press. Although we by no means want to discourage Ms. Sarandon from her sudden and profound love of a strict interpretation of The Constitution . . . even if her first attempts are rather firmly absurdest. To this end we happily refer this weak thinker to Article One: Section 8. . . . as well as the Tenth Amendment.
