A friend manages a convenience store and because of Obummercare all his employees are now part time, 28 hours per week max. The company he works for, owned by a family, has six other little stores and used to employ about 60 people, not including managers. They will soon be employing around 90 people, all of them part time, because it will be cheaper than trying to provide health insurance for full time employees, which the company does now.
It's a damn shame when government comes up with these screwy ideas that forces a small business to choose between paying for an unreasonable benefit or closing its doors. Especially when that business is already doing as much for its employees as it can.
It's a way for Corporate Greed to stifle competition.
Simple, it wouldn't cost so much if Corporate Greed didn't steal our gold.
Agree with all, what these bloated bottom feeders who wrote this unabashed power grab either didn't realize, or didn't care, is that small businesses provide 52 percent of the jobs, and 54 percent of the money.
It's just beginning to dawn on these idiots that they are forcing the country into a massive financial crisis, where everyone will be equal, because nobody will have insurance.
Don't know the dude's political's sphere... but this is exactly what Conservatives should be doing CORRECTLY identifying the problem, presenting a history as to what got us to the problem and then providing feasible solutions to the problem and then correct/amend/enact and do all needed so the best solution for the problem is done.
Now for this we need people who are looking out for everyone and we don't have those people in great quantity in Washington it is a simple as that.

I'm almost certain that the framers of this bullshit knew something was going to give and all too happy to foist health insurance upon employers as a direct result of the cozy relationship the Dems, who controlled the government at that time, had with their constituent insurance companies. Cronyism has been alive and well, in the Democrap party for as long as it has existed!
The framers of the Constitution knew this shit would happen, too. Unfortunately John Stevens needs remedial reading 101 and further study of the Bill of Rights.
