Boo hoo hoo, that old meanie Rick Perry is stealing jobs again!
Having been a senior manager in a large company I was eventually made responsible for our California operations, along with other locations. The problems with California isn't just the extreme anti business climate there, the main problem was that if you hired someone that turned out to be worthless and fired them, the state agencies and lawyers were all over your ass. It wasnt just the tens, and sometimes hundreds of thousands of dollars it cost, the incredible amounts of time it burned up doing depositions and responding to one worthless government shitbag after another was phenomenal. I left that company with the recommendation they get the hell out of California....and eventually they did.
The best thing about moving out of state is that you can get rid of all the dead weight. Just don't offer them a job in the new location, and they haven't a leg to stand on!
It takes an act of God to get fired in this fruitcake state..I have seen cops who should have NEVER been cops, get their job back time after time because of the state and unions....Same with Prison guards, teachers too...You would literally have to kill someone to get fired in this state, and do it in front of a room full of witnesses, on video and sign a full confession....
And even then it's a 60/40 chance....at best.
Look all you knuckle dragging racists, Jerry Brown is going to build a high speed train that will make the PRoC the bestest state ever. The PRoC don't need no stinking corporations and it sure don't need no stinking small businesses. The PRoC needs government, all the government it can get. Oh and millions of illiterate and diseased third world children and their families to suck off the social services so we can get more government.

Hey, I have a GREAT idea. Lets make it so expensive, uncomfortable, and downright unpleasant for those evil corporations that they move their jobs and business elsewhere.....what could POSSIBLY go wrong?
Just leave all the leftist in San Diego. That way they can live in the own hell, I mean utopia.
I'm guessing that Active Network doesn't hire a lot of illegal aliens. No need to stay in San Diego.
