• As soon as their current contractual arrangement is done, they should move the show to a different network, or start one of their own.

• Like nobody saw this coming. Looks like the Nambla members over at GLAAD and our least favorite race baiter Jessie are shit out of luck.

• I still think he should take his program to The Blaze or FOX...that's just me though.

  • I would disagree somewhat, just because those are obvious outlets. I think there's a poetic irony in them being on a network that otherwise sets itself up as being rather posh and elitist. I think someone else here said recently that A&E may have thought that they were setting these guys up to be figures of fun and stereotypical caricatures. I'm not sure about that, but I don't think they were expecting this show to be such a bombshell, in a positive way. This, in contrast to that "Honey Boo-Boo," which I admit I have never seen, but which I can only imagine has the same morbid fascination for some as a car wreck. In any case, I think there is a priceless satisfaction in knowing that these "rednecks" are now the face of "Arts & Entertainment."

    • I accidentally landed on A&E once when Honey Boo Boo was on, and watched about 5 minutes. I think the only reason I didn't change the channel sooner was because I was waiting for her mother to have a heart attack.

• Guess GLAD built their tent out of paper mache. Once the heat come down on A&E they folded like that paper mache tent. As for planning this, its possible they did plan it with GLAD. Just in hopes of getting Phil Robertson to shut up and give them the cover to remove him from the show. They've tried several times to silence he and the family and every time they got told to take a hike and that the Robertsons were not going to change anything for the camera or for A&E.
