Like most liberal thought , absolutely blind to reality or reason . Mostly driven by a false sense of guilt and corrupted emotion .

Only a matter of time before 'Dear leader" and his cronies start giving themselves medals, then they can look like the dictators they really want to be.
He'll look like Qaddafi in his uniform if left to give himself medals.
I am the caretaker of a real Bronze star presented to my uncle for his service on the island of Luzon.
My father has a Purple Heart, a Bronze Star, and a Silver Star from World War II. That's why these cheap medals for bureaucrats and phonies like Kerry bug me so much. Dad walks around with shrapnel in multiple places and aches he never complains about, and this guy wrote a PowerPoint presentation?! If he had any real honor he would decline the medal.
He exposed himself to virtual e-paper cuts. I didn't read it again and don't want to now, but does anyone know if the medal included the V-device?

Didn't say that I recall.
I get that the chaplain can't refuse the award but if he wears the ribbon he discredits those who won that medal through heroism in combat. It is nothing new to see officers receive medals basically for breathing and not getting court martialed. When I was an active duty commissioned officer I saw all sorts of weird circumstances where other officers would get Army Commendation Medals and any enlisted involved would get Army Achievement Medals. Hell, they gave me an ARCOM just for resigning and going into the private sector (if I'd been a major it would have been a Meritorious Medal). That was my second oak leaf cluster. I will say though, I earned my badges, my rank and the first ARCOM..

I won't comment on the officers, but I only have an AF Achievement Medal.

I'm for rolling the Air Force back into the Army, once again they've proven they have zero judgement. Remember when the AF brass was kicking and screaming that they didn't want the A-10?
But remember, burning the American flag is an act of patriotic dissent and protected by the 1st Amendment. GOD you just want to scream!
