• The Goreites will have to come to my part of the country today to prove their point. We are at a balmy 52 degrees, almost a whole 4 degrees warmer than the average!

  • Please tell me somebody hit the down button by accident, that's classic. And as a news junkie I'm ashamed of never having heard of a snow melting machine. Using diesel front-end loaders to haul 26 feet of snow caused by global warming that's been pushed into piles by snow plows to a melting machine I'd bet is diesel powered (we already have a solar one, too slow) must give the greenies fits. Man, I love this country.

    • I lived in Anchorage for a couple of years and back then they used to load dump trucks w/snow and haul them different places to dump right into Cook Inlet. Now you need a 'snow melting machine'? Damn Ecomentalists.
