Allen “This liberal-progressive agenda is the antithesis of who we are as a nation” West

If we’re not mistaken, new Florida Representative Allen West is going to make the Congressional Black Caucus very nervous. He’ll probably make the Congressional White Caucus nervous, too. Oh, what’s that? There is no Congressional White Caucus because that would be raaaacist? Hmmmmm.

Well, nevertheless, he told Fox News’ Chris Wallace that “This liberal progressive agenda is the antithesis of who we are as a nation.”

This, of course, will come as no surprise to anyone except those to promote the liberal-progressive agenda. No matter what caucus they’re in.

  • I saw Allen West for the first time while I was checking up on Allen Keyes blogsite about a year ago...I've loved this guy ever since!

  • and this black man scares me. We don't need black men learning and speaking the truth. Other blacks may catch on and severely disrupt our gravy train.

  • The more I read and see of Congressman West, what he has to say, how he says it (how refreshing the truth is) the more I wonder why we have such a total incompetent in the White house, who's greatest accomplishments to date are the attempted (and corrupt, thank you insurance companies and pharmaceuticals) take over of the health care (to make it better) like the government did for Social Security or the Post office. I would rather have fifty Mr. West's than one million obama's. Maybe with his no nonsense, truthful and demonstrated ability to lead there is a possible hope for the republic

  • We have seen the selfishness of socialism.. In a effort to obtain this objective , They placed the burden of payment on the next generation .... No party ( Rep. or Dem ) have the right to force the grand children to pay the price for their selfish behavior.. Socialism has always done one thing every time ,, greater poverty.. God bless America !!

  • I have been listening to West and I like what I hear. If we could get a few more like him elected, black, white, a little green man from Roswell, NM, I don't care as long as they understand that our country is in trouble because bad politics and corrupt politicians.

    • I think our system is so far gone that nobody that truley understands WTF is happening will ever be elected, and in the off chance they are, they will be pushed out of the spotlight or bought off.

That West has recieved any coverage from the MSM tells me he's already been comprimised. He'll make some big stinks and provide lots of political theater about a $2M earmark here or there, about abortions or immigrants or stir up some hub-bub about Obama.

What he WONT do is say a damn thing about why the government always runs deficits and why it borrows from a private organization of banks that can print the money to run the deficits from nothing. Why those are the same banks that got bail-out money and why future generations will have to pay interest on money created from bits in a computer.

I like this site but I believe many are missing the forest for the trees. The whole left vs right thing is a smokescreen. Did anyone notice how the tea-party was formed based on money printing and moral hazard but got reduced to the tired old stuff about religion and immigrants?

    • To make a point... to make a statement. The Black Caucus (shouldn't exist) BUT since it seems it has to it shouldn't be liberal only nor should it represent special interests either. So joining makes a point and perhaps he may make some necessary changes.

    • "West, one of two black Republicans elected this year, has decided to join the Congressional Black Caucus, saying he intends to inject some conservative principles into the liberal group, which is made up of Democratic lawmakers. To that end, he's off to a confrontational start -- calling the caucus a "monolithic voice that promotes these liberal social welfare policies and programs that are failing in the black community, that are preaching victimization and dependency."

      Taken from an NPR article.

    • To straighten them out. Or at least yank their chain.

That caucus is possibly the most corrupt group in Congress. To have West in there to shed light on their shenanigans will do nothing but help.

  • Yes Chris is as bad and worst than that. Allen West is right everything they stand on is completly opposite to what the country is really or should be really all about.
