          I have seen him on TV in interview segments, and I strain to listen to him for any length of time. He blusters and has difficulty framing his thoughts. I've seen ONE of his movies, and it was a lot easier to understand his perspective, even if couldn't always agree

          In full wide-screen view, he stupefies with his corpulence and his overly simplistic analysis. He is a terrible spokesman for the liberal viewpoint

          By contrast, what really gives me pause are the waves of fatties i behold lurching about in public places. In conjunction with the jaw-dropping ignorance and lack of scholarship evident in many youth, I feel hope being stripped away. Its not only government's fault.. its something endemic to rabidly consumerist culture

        • Whenever he's being interviewed, the camera crew has to break out the wide angle lens.

• Does "American Grown" have a wide-angle shot of her more-than-ample @$$ on the front cover?

  • It's a fold out. 10 pages.

• If she is so infuential in getting people to eat healthier, why are fast food joints creating 338 lbs burgers?

  • Because, what moochelle preaches isn't what she practices, and she does need someone that can feed her enough to satisfy her appetite.

  • That is the most profound question I've seen in a long time. Along those same lines, why did her husband order fried chicken and waffles when she is trying to get the unwashed to eat better?

    • Is the state department gonna buy $70,000 worth of these books too?

• Meanwhile, there are real, talented writers who can't get published.

  And my goodness! Who knew that one could grow vegetables before Michelle came along to tell us?

• Okay why does every politician, wife of a politician, mistress of a politician, gay partner of a politician, former spouse of a politician, former house painter for a politician feel the need to write a book? Liberals have to remember the kids they are educating can't read so who is the book really for? I could care less what the Queen has to say, ever since her "I was not proud of my country till my husband bought, er I mean won the election"...So now she writes a book called American Grown? I am sure it will list all the struggles she had as a multimillionaire and how tough it was to agitate a community with a broken nail, or the wrong color shoes...First time every I want to buy a book and burn it in my firepit. It must be a Fiction Book.............

  • Notsosilent, I used to agree with the sentiment, "First they burn books, then they burn people," but some books should be burned, I think...

• If she wants to sell more copies of the book, she should have called it "Home Grown"!

  • If it were a description of what they are doing for the nation, it'd be 'America groans'.

• Does she even do her own gardening, or does she pay others to do it? Probably should be called Mexican Grown.

• If I find a copy, I'll use it in my cat's litterbox.

• It could be about her husband's nose, which should stretch from San Diego to Bangor by the time the election rolls around next year.
