Ann Romney is a vanilla, rich white woman (and an icky Mormon) while Michelle Obama is a righteous Black womyn (and a cool Democrat). Accordingly, anything Ann Romney says, or wears or does is dull and insipid while anything Michelle says, or wears or does is way cool.
It's not a double standard, it's a complete lack of standards and no sense of shame.
