That was pretty funny, but the funniest part was that it opened with an ad for Charmin, with the gayest bear on TV.

It's a war, people. A knock-down brass-knuckles war. The enemy will stain, infiltrate, and corrupt -- anything to win. The last example above involves a church of very good people. I don't attend that church, but I drive by it every day and I've never seen a church more utilized. They're always having events, and Bible study groups, and picnics outside. The offender in this case was an "assistant" pastor from a local seminary -- i.e., an academic, not a full-time pastor -- who offered to help at the church. Infiltration, you see? Why, knowing his own issues, did he volunteer to be an assistant pastor at a church? Why did he choose a career as a professor at a seminary? Well, because where better to score points for evil?
sometimes these ppl are so corrupted by sin they have become blinded, and dont even see how they are being used by evil forces. Some do and like it (like in my opinion Obama and Soros). Others believe that being in a certain environment will cleanse him or her of their sin, without actually doing any effort to stop.
Exactly. They think Christianity is like medicine: you just swallow it and it does all the work. I mean, you don't have to focus your thoughts, alter your heart, or believe in order for an antihistamine to stop your sneezing; so why should Christianity be any different?
Anti-Christian people always object to the idea that a man can live a lifetime of evil and then be forgiven on his deathbed and go to heaven. They forget the part you mention, that your reconciliation with God needs to come from your heart and be sincere - you can't just have a priest splash holy water on you and all is forgiven. It doesn't work like that.
I have always believed that had Hitler (anybody like him) had not committed suicide, but asked G-d for forgiveness, from the bottom of his soul and accepted the consequences of his actions, even if he didn't have the chance nor opportunities to do good deeds (although no good deeds could actually pay all of his victims back), he would have been saved.
I have to believe that Jesus' Blood is that powerful and Redeeming. However, Hitler had to be the one to do seek this forgiveness and turn from sin. Hitler though was like Soros. He knew very well that G-D exists, he just did not care... to the end he didn't care.
Then G-D (the Faith) is blamed for the failure, and He and believers are unfairly ridiculed because of these ppl.

When someone is publicly anti-gay and privately hooking up, it leads me to believe he's pretty tortured. It makes me wonder what his Uncle Ernie did to him when he was a kid.
I don't feel bad for him too much for he is indeed a hypocrite, but I do feel bad just a bit if indeed this has a genesis that hurt him deeply.
