• It seems irrational that he would pull a gun on a police officer like that. I imagine he thought he was playing a 3d version of Grand Theft Auto.

• This is ALL about a federal police force. The next two years dealing with this despot in Washington determines if we remain a semi-functioning constitutional republic or a fascist police state.

• The only way to stop these straw protests is to pull media attention off of them. They have been debunked as not having any legitimate purpose except to incite riots, looting, and murder. The ringleaders need to do hard time and be made as an example.

  "Toni Martin spoke to reporters at the scene earlier on Wednesday morning and disputed the police account.

  According to the St Louis Post Dispatch, Mrs Martin said her son was walking with his girlfriend to the store when police arrived. She claims that he was shot dead as he ‘was trying to get up and run’.

  ‘The police was messing with him,’ she told the newspaper. ‘He was trying to get up and run. When he tried to get up and ran they started shooting him.

  ‘He was a good young man. He was 18. He was trying to get his life back together. We were trying to get him back in school and stuff.’

  She denied that her son was armed. ‘He had no gun,’ she said.

  After the shooting, she complained that police wouldn’t let her ‘see her baby’. She said that she had only learned about her son’s death when his girlfriend came to pick her up.

  Utter bullshit, but she is trying to get on the racist Police bandwagon...Just once I wish these Welfare Queens would take responsibility for their kids. But NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO it is always someone else's fault when the kid assumes room temperature because he was taught any better by Mommy, and God knows where Daddy is or who he even is.

    • I look to poke fun at them, the angrier they get, the funnier I get..Once they figure out your not gonna bite on their bullshit, they give up. Or they get an ass whooping of the appropriate level....

        • I bow to you both, I have an amazing amount of patience for many things, being the primary caretaker for a father in law with dementia is just one example, but the one thing I have no patience for is stupid people. I couldn't do your job, because I would have been busted out and charged with brutality, for beating the shit out of the stupid.

      • My next door neighbor and best buddy from quite a few years ago, was a cop in Westminster, CA. He was first on the scene of an accident where a drunk driver had swerved across the centerline and killed an entire family going the other way. The drunk had, of course, only minor injuries, and was standing looking at his wrecked car while my friend checked to see if there was anything he could do for the family.

        The drunk had sat on the curb, and was furious, bitching about what "that asshole" had done to his beautiful new car. When the second officer arrived on the scene, he had to talk my friend down, convincing him to put away the pistol he had aimed at the drunk's head.

        My friend resigned the force about a week later. He then climbed into the bottle, and as far as I know, never came out. I've lost touch with him. He's divorced, rarely sees his son.

        • Many fall prey to the bottle. I've seen it end careers that were on the rise. There's always that one which forces you to question why you are a cop.

  • Yes, but I will say I saw the mayor conduct a presser & he was very clear that what he saw on video, that the police were justified. He see no trouble as of now, & after what we've seen lately, it's refreshing.

    • I read that and was glad the Mayor said what he did. If your forthcoming at the start it takes steam out of the rioters story.

      • He also seems to have learned from De Blasio's cock-ups as well. There shouldn't be any real problems in Berkley, which is right next door to Ferguson.
