Bonfire of the Absurdities: After 35 year career writing software for IBM mainframes, am now self-employed contractor thinking of joining a union and striking for higher wages. We've spent about 150 times as much as we needed to, in order to insure a bunch of uninsured people, but also made a bunch of formerly insured people uninsured. Therefore, it was a wash, but it cost us 2 trillion for no progress.

Ha! Ha! I posed that same question to my liberal minded B-I-L and he was stumped so I pressed on....I asked; "Do you know that George Soros backs a lot of the liberal agendas?"
He threw his arms up and with a dumb look on his face asked; "Who is he?"

I'm embarrassed to say my sister was there at the time and she was just as ignorant.
We're not allowed to talk politics because they are defenseless and ignorant and they don't want to hear my side.

  I was told I'm not allowed to talk politics in my house. But now that Obama has been in office for over 5 years, my opinions aren't so bad. She's not happy with him, keeps saying "that asshole has to go!".
