APPLE’S SIRI HAS NEW ROLE IN NEW ‘SMART’ HOME SYSTEMS. Judging by the way Siri worked yesterday when we asked it 5 times for directions before giving up and pulling over to type the address in before we threw the phone out the window, everyone will tell Siri to turn off the light 5 times before they get up and do it the old fashioned way. Or, perhaps they should cut their losses and buy the Clapper.

Yet another reason to not buy Apple products.
Just another technological piece of garbage that will fail and cost you a bundle to fix like an electric car....In fact what if Siri has a breakdown and starts turning lights off and on at random, opening and closing the garage door, turning the thermostat to 150 degrees then down to -30 and leaves the refrigerator light on after you close the door??? That would be a great "B": movie...Siri attacks......
Makes me think of my dad. I don't think he ever saw a remote garage door opener. He did have a remote TV channel changer, it was named Leroy and Allen.
The standard thinking around my house when I was a kid was "any time I am too lazy to tell the kid to change the channel, I am a sorry S.O.B."
And while you are up, grab me a beer, please. (hey, they taught politeness, good manners and respect by example. However, if you failed to FOLLOW their example.......)
