Just about everybody in the congress and senate are stupid and incompetent, and greedy liars to boot. Especially the Commircrats, who have raised the bar for graft and corruption.

Being from the People's Republic Of Maryland , and big Ben being the senior senator here, I heard this transfer and wondered , where has this type of questioning been of late .
Ben , normally is VERY slick , but he definitely was blind sided this time . He maintained the talking points for as long as he could , but as usual never answered the serious questions .
On some of the local news , it was mentioned how rude Bartiromo was to the "senior " senator and only goes to show the desperate nature of the right .

Hey Senator, I have an idea--why don't we keep the tax rates for the "rich" (those making more than $250k/yr) the same as they are now, and reduce the rate for the "not rich" by 20% across the board? Then "the rich" will pay more of their "fair share" which is what you guys keep babbling about.
But, then there would have to be cuts in the budget, and we all know there is NOTHING to cut!

Is there anyone out there that doesn't believe I could go over the budget and find at least 1 trillion in cuts before I got 1/2 way through it?
Give me the financial reins, and we could eliminate the national debt and still keep the military strong, give them all a nice raise, and still finance everything that we are constitutionally required to. It may take a few years, and there would be quite a few bureaucratic cuts, but it would be worth it.
When I was in business school I took a class where each of us had to balance the budget. This exercise was on a website designed for that purpose. This was back in the good old days of only being about $4T in debt with a $100-125B budget deficit. As I recall I balanced the budget in about 30 minutes. The cuts were easy to do because the waste was everywhere.

I don't. This was over 15 years ago. I'm sure there are others out there.
I looked into the others I could find, but they didn't give options to cut pork projects, and foreign aid could only be cut by 1/2. It seems one of them had an agenda because one of the biggest budget savings was to institute Cap and Trade.
I would love to see one that allows for all options, not just a select few.
