Attack of the luxury toilets

SatisToilet.jpg

Attack of the luxury toilets. High-end Satis toilets, which cost over $5,000 and are operated by a smartphone app, are vulnerable to being hacked because all the access codes are the same, “0000.” So pranksters can make your toilet flush, turn on the bidet, start the hot air dryer, make the lid go up and down on you, and switch the toilet’s music to hard rock or rap. Nobody can poop under those conditions.

  • And this is what you get when you buy a f***ing toilet that wipes your ass for you. KISSF = Keep It Simple Stupid F***er...that's my take on it.

    • I'll stick with the chair height $88 special from Home Depot.
Easy on the knees and wallet!

  • Hacking a toilet? That's the shits.......Who in the hell needs a toilet that your phone can operate? Talk about over the top.

    • If I had $5K to waste I would take me a nice, long road trip. Ain't nothing more fun than taking the back roads along the Rockies all the way to Montana. I wonder if I can buy an air-ride seat for my old ride?

      • You buy the toilet model without the stereo speakers for $3,000 and still have enough left over for a vacation.

        • I would still rather have an air seat for the old bike, the older I get the less I have to sit on.

  • A FIVE THOUSAND DOLLAR TOILET?
Screw all that, all my toilet has to do is flush.
Hell, I've used outhouses that didn't have that flush luxury. At this point I'm just happy to have indoor plumbing.

    • Even after retiring from construction, it seems most of my toilet use is in outhouses. I hate those damn things.

          • Quite often, the park that we do an event in has permanent flush toilets, and we can sneak off and use those. Last weekend, we were in San Jose, CA, and the park's restrooms were so nasty dure to the homeless population, the porta-johns were preferable.

          • I have a worse story. When my older daughter was only two, I took her to an outdoor basketball tournament in which I was playing. They had far more people than they expected, so there were long lines at the port-a-johns. When she told me she had to go, I waited in line with her, took her inside, and the damn thing was so overloaded the shit was piled up into a cone two feet higher than the toilet seat.

"Daddy, Daddy, someone forgot to flush!" she yelled.

I had to hold her above the cone at arm's length and let her go. Good for my arm muscles but bad for my jump shot.

          • I can top that.
            Think job-site.
            South Florida.
            Summer.
            7 story building.
            300 + workers.
Only 4 toilets on the job and they had not been emptied in AT LEAST 2 MONTHS.

I still refer to that as the never ending job from hell.

          • In the days of old when knights were bold: We dumped our load beside the road and walked away contented!

Hey flash and oodd, when I started out in construction the outhouse was the tire or tracks of whatever piece of equipment you were running. Grease rags were not just for wiping your hands on!

  • A toilet operated by a smartphone app? Hmmm... toilets reserved for the elite few who think their sh*t doesn't stink. I suppose the next "improved" generation will need an app to tell them to wipe themselves. Their President has a teleprompter to do that.

    • I don't think they have to wipe themselves with this toilet. The toilet gently washes them, then air dries them with warm air, then pats them dry with a soft robot hand engineered to be exactly like Sydney Leathers' hand. All while playing Perry Como songs and massaging your colon with ultrasonic waves that push your business down the chute like a magna-train accelerating out of a Swiss tunnel.

Hey, I should write ad copy for these people.

      • Anyone using these toilets would get herpes, syphilis and gonorrhea due to all the hookers and politicians using them.

        • I can go for the Sydney Leathers hand, but would have to turn down the volume on Perry Como.

      • Obama's bidet could be hooked up to a high pressure fire hose that administers a power enema as I'm sure he'd insist on saving paper for the environmentalists and polar bears.

The wipe to end all wipes...
