I saw a show called Storage Wars where this guy found one (in bad shape) and it was still worth a lot more than he paid for the storage locker. It is a clown car.

I'm not enough of a car buff to know what a Ford Granada is/was, but from what you guys say about it it must have been Fords version of the Corvair. I can see why no one would want to drive, let alone own one!
Ford's version of the Corvair was the Pinto. The Grenada was supposed to be Ford's answer to the Mercedes Benz. The ONLY similarity was the rectangular grill. The Grenada was a total complete crap pile.
I actually owned a Pinto! It wasn't the worst car I ever owned. At least the heater worked!
The Pinto actually had a fantastic drivetrain. It got the bad rap because of fuel tank placement.
They were a hot car.

I rented one of these pos one time. After 1 day of driving I begged the car rental company to give me anything else, even an AMC would have been an improvement.
