The leftwing lunatics at Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream are celebrating Vermont’s decision to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples by renaming its “Chubby Hubby” ice cream flavor “Hubby Hubby” for the month of September.
Seriously. You can’t make this stuff up.
“At the core of Ben & Jerry’s values, we believe that social justice can and should be something that every human being is entitled to,” said Ben & Jerry’s CEO, Walt Freese.
“From the very beginning of our 30 year history,” he continued, “we have supported equal rights for all people. The legalisation of marriage for gay and lesbian couples in Vermont is certainly a step in the right direction and something worth celebrating with peace, love and plenty of ice cream.”
Hubby Hubby contains chocolate-covered peanut butter-filled pretzel nuggets.
We assume it also has twice as many nuts as the old Chubby Hubby.

heh, i have to admit, the fudge packer comment was kinda funny. even if offensive.
first- free speech just to let you know, they can change theyre icecream names all day.
it doesnt matter.
why freak about it?
its silly.
but you have free speech, too.
even if your speech is rather hating and ridiculous.
why waste the effort to hate people?
why waste the effort, time, and TAX PAYERS MONEY on not allowing samesex marriage?
why deny another human being the right to be happy and fall in love?
It's not called Fudge Packer?
I don't even want to know if they have some "special" ingredients.
What's this...[edited out] flavored ice cream??
Note from Admin: we'd like to keep this a little classier than that please.
My apologies...how's about "poopy penis"?
Very clever, Gern. Very clever.
two sticks of cinnaman and no cherry
As a fan of the free market, naturally you support Ben & Jerry to make whatever statement they wish with their business. Even (gasp!) one you disagree with. Yes, you have the right to mock it (until that marxist Obama takes that right away) but who is going to notice besides me? And I don't even live in America.
Viva le revolution!
YEa because gay marriage will ruin society!!!! OMG !!!
Get over yourself. And good on B&J for doing this. It is shameful that we as a society treat gays like second class citizens telling them what they can or cannot do.
We're not ridiculing gay marriage, we're ridiculing the terminally whacked out Ben & Jerry. Can you please point us to the Hubby and Wifey flavor?
