Certainly there are collaborators in the R party that let this kind of stuff slide by. But the democrat party is wholly responsible for all this corrupt, lying, traitorous behavior, as displayed perfectly in their Benghazi cover-up. They live it daily and promote it at all levels withing their control.
This didn't get a lot of play but stumbled on it. While I take this guys site w\ a grain of salt (he gets a little wild-eyed sometimes) to his credit he's never claimed to be a "journalist", just a commentator on what he sees. That being said, fwiw I found these two Pickering comments in the hearing pretty interesting.

There is an old saying used by drill sergeants to tell men to get moving quickly, there is something important to do, it was "drop your cocks and grab your socks". Sounds like Mullen was telling the military to "drop your socks and grab your cocks".
Even if "Hold in place" didn't mean "Stand down", it had the same exact effect. We have dead Americans that we didn't lift a finger to help. THAT is the most aggregious thing about all of this. The rank and file military are all incredibly angry about not being allowed to do anything to help a brother in arms.
Mullen is a disgrace to the uniform. He is an Obama hack with his nose so far up the one's ass he knows what he swallowed 2 seconds ago. This asshat has exactly zero credibility.
Plausible deniability is right out of the rules for radicals and liberal playbook. It usually comes just before the baffle them with bullshit phase. But remember, when in doubt call them racists.

Hold in place also equals end wars (rather than win them), which is another favorite BHO talking point. Very different meaning than a die in place mission. DIP missions are unavoidable and crucial to strategic success. Benghazi could have been reinforced from everything I have heard.
For more than a year before the attack, there where request for reinforcements and to reinforce the consulate.

I would rest a lot easier at night if our military brass and politicians were as good at protecting the country as they are at protecting their own backsides.
On display the difference between a career military/politician and a career military member. Admiral Mullen makes me want to puke. He has gotten worse as he has gone along. Remember Lt Salamander, some of us remember you when you where just a new ring knocker who was so terrified to make a decision that on more than one occasion your Master Chief had to make the decision for you.
Get a set of NUTS, get up off your knees and for once in your pathetic Naval career do what is right and stop being the puss that many of us want to forget.
