Well thank you for that brilliant insight, Capt. Obvious. Glad you caught up with the rest of the population. WallStreet is gambling, pure and simple. Generally the House lets you win for a while, but at some point has to correct, and bring some money in. After the Great Depression, rules were in place to.protect the investor, but over the decades, every last one has been removed. So treat it like gambling. Don't bet what you can't afford to.lose. This is wh I am against investing for retirement. You could go bancrupt just about the time you need the money. I know I was neatly wiped out.
Wall Street would never gamble in such a manner if it was their own money, they know that the Federal reserve would stick the US public and the world economy with the bills.
He knows the next financial crisis is going to suck a lot more than the last one, so he is starting to play the blame game.
He's right that some of the Fers should have been prosecuted but he doesn't need to be talking about what should or shouldn't have happened, especially since Fed and other central bank policies have helped contribute to the stagnant state of the global economy, helping the same MFers he's saying should have been prosecuted get even richer along the way. My genius mother let someone convince her to put them on her roof in NJ, and there isn't even a battery storage system for them, better yet, when the power goes out, the solar panels automatically disconnect, so she still has no power!

i looked at the few who install around here, and their various govt kickbacks... not worth it. they say eventually, the units will be more like a rental from the utilities... haven't seen that happen yet.

when the last whale took 6 months to haul in, we were ready for oil. when trains were invented, the entire country first wound up with a variety of track gauges that couldn't connect our coasts yet.

As a side note I found this song, Helicopter Ben, by searching "Helicopter Ben" in Youtube. I've listened to it four or five times now. It is pretty catchy. And the band is named Rothbard, which is pretty cool.

You should worry about all the people who lost money, lost jobs and lost houses thanks to your rush to save big banks and Government motors. The taxpayer got the shaft, the big boys got the goldmine, and yet here you are saying, well maybe we didn't do such a great job? If anyone should be in prison, it is you and your boss... I used to do some work for a hotel near me, nobody that worked there knew how to fix a leaky faucet or anything else for that matter. What pissed me off, was the owner, a German national, and her husband, a Pakistani national (Muslim) took advantage of the cash for clunkers program. But karma got them, because they traded in his Mercedes for a Chevy POS that kept breaking down.
