I notice there is no shortage of GMO grains, like wheat, corn, and soy. despite floods and droughts which shoul affect the market price.

Strangely I just found steaks on sale at HEB. Bought a couple of NY Strips for under $6 a pound. Grilled one up for dinner and it tasted pretty dang good.
Where? Tuesdays are usually good shopping days. They put on a lot ofin store specials then.
Seems the NY strip has been priced like that for at least 18 months now. Even the HEB prime NY strips are less than ten bucks a lb and las t I looked they were at 8.99. Even so, I' m a prime ribeye fan myself! 17.99 a lb and worth every penny IMO!!!!!!!! Not too out of line budget wise unless do it every weekend.
Still it all goes up in price if you're making gasoline with feed, which raises the cost of fuel across the board, which raises the cost of bringing food to market, which raises the price of the food. Another vicious cycle they've got us caught in to stop global warming.
