• Why would they need it if they are not militarizing the border? Unless this is not for the borders but for to keep the citizens in check? After all the stories about gun purchases going up amoung citizens is a known thing.

  • Would be a smart move by the dickboyadministration. Making a big show of securing our border. Create a bunch of new jobs and diluting the voter base of these states with mindless robots that are loyal to the administration. Of course they would have orders to act as tour guides into the US rather than orders to seal the border.

• I keep wondering who those will be to side against the citizenry and take up arms against us? My neighbor who works for the federal government? Members of the regular armed services? National guardsmen? Sheriff's offices and local police departments? I just don't see ho any entity (especially if Obama wants to form some sort of civilian paramilitary force; who will join... Occupiers?)

  • Local law enforcement will not side with the takeover, there just are not enough of them. The National Guard and Reserves will not because they are us. The officers in the military will not execute orders to shoot on citizenry, some percentage of enlisted will. I do believe that the hardcore leftists in the many forms of government will be against us but won't have the numbers. I think they will try a few trial balloons and when they get slaughtered those left will rethink their actions. There will be no regularly armed leftists taking up arms because most of those people are sane.

    That really leaves only the 20% of the population that is hardcore communis..er Liberal. They don't know what end to use on a gun and will run when just one bullet whizzes by them. The only choice is to keep chipping away at our freedoms. 0bama is reaching too far and I think he is mentally unstable enough to put the order out but sane people will not issue it or obey it.

    I know I just ordered two more 400 rd cans of 7.62.

    • When the big story of the day was the question being put to Marines at 29 Palms, "Would you fire on law abiding civilians if ordered to do so?" I talked to a few of the Marines myself. I lived in Joshua Tree, right next door to the base, so I came into contact with a lot of Marines in my daily life. Every one of them that I talked to said that if an officer ordered them to fire on innocent civilians, that officer would be dead in seconds.

      I have nothing but the deepest respect for our men and women in uniform.

  • When talking with officers from other departments and officers from my own department, there is NOT one Obama fan in the lot, A lot of them are disgusted by what they see happening, A lot mentioned they would retire before they start siding with the feds. I think like the Marine story, there is a lot of unhappy cops/sheriffs deputy's/highway patrol/state police out there that would rather quit than enforce some kind of unconstitutional bullshit out of D.C. Especially if he would try to "federalize" cops...We all took an oath to uphold and defend the constitution, not to tear it up for the sack of a wanna be dictator.

    One more thing, there is massive distrust of any federal agency right now because of the current DOJ and it's fast and furious lying leader. Keeping your distance from any federal agency is the best thing we can do.

  • Mush heads like john will. The "disenfranchised" will en masse I believe not for any other reason but to loot and kill just because they could. LA in 1992 comes to mind. That was open rebellion. This country can go up just as easily as any other with the proper set up. Like I said on another thread: Carter was incompetent. Obama is implementing a strategy.

  • well, i've trained side by side with natl guard. I'm not impressed with them, at all.
    as for the ows-ers, all i'd have to do is run at them w/a wash rag and bar of soap.

      There are many guardsmen who have paid it all. They have earned their respect and admiration. Many that I know and have trained with where active Military during the Clintons and found away to serve after being "asked" to go into the private sector.

• Massive ammo purchase by DHS plus big FEMA purchase of RTE meals and camps (bid for contract) = October surprise. Shoot for Iran and hope for the best? In hopes of keeping in charge the WH. I won't be surprised by ANYTHING this admin is putting asunder.

• In other related news Ruger announced they will not accept orders for more guns for a while as the orders pending are so voluminous that they exceed their capacity to manufacture. • Its a way to disarm us with out actually taken the firearms. No ammo, no way to defend or protect. This is a prime example of why people need to stock pile their own ammo.

• They need it to supply all the banditos that got the F&F guns. After all, many US politicians get their cut of the drug profits. Gotta keep the pipeline open.

• I don't know about you but this makes me want to order more ammo.

  I seem to remember some under qualified inexperienced community agitator saying that there needed to be a civilian para military force equal to the armed services. I think this far left ideologue might have also talked about $5 gas prices and closing down coal power plants too. Probably nothing to worry about. We still have the Fourth Amendment.
