Big Gulps beware! New York City approves large sugary soda ban to take effect six months from now (complete with $200 fines). We predict soon NYC will be prohibition redux. Speakeasy’s all over the city will be serving illicit big gulp sodas instead of bathtub gin. In the 20’s it was the Volstead Act, in the 2012’s it will be known as the Mayor Nanny Bloomberg Act.

Simple way to get around this, two 16 ounce drinks for the price of one, put Bloomturds picture on the cup and call it the Bloomturd bargain.

I'm glad I live in Florida, where Racetrac has 52 oz cups, and they give a discount if you bring them in for a refill.
I gues the concept pf refills or just buying 2 drinks instead of one never crossed bloomer's mind. You can't ban a SIZE of drink! This will be in the crapper before it is even enacted. The soda companies are already trying to get an injunction. The ban is on drinks larger than 16 oz. So can I no longer go to the grocery and buy a 3 liter botle? What about a six-pack? God forbid the penalty for a case. THis is beyond stupid. As someone once said, "to pass a law is nothing. To enforce the law is everything."
So in the meantime, Drita from the show Mob Wives (I love that show so don't be hating),posted on Facebook about how a 72 year old woman was attacked and taped in Central Park in broad daylight. Is New York really going to be dedicating resources to enforce this stupid ass law when actual crime is going on so brazenly? Swear to God liberals are the biggest dumbasses alive. When a reality show star has a better handle on what's important than the mayor, you know that city is screwed.

It's not a scripted show with characters, it's a "reality" show. I believe that she is really like that.
There is no "reality" in "reality" shows. They are all laughably contrived -- much like watching the Kardashian whores jumping on a bed to "break it in" i.e. provide "girl on trampoline fanservice". They may start with a situation, but life is way too boring for the average producer to let continue.

So what happens when some financially destitute person is guzzling a soda that is too big? He/She aint got the $200.00. Jail?? For how long? What happens if it is a muslim that claims that it is forbidden by Muhammed to drink a soda less that the large size? Better not offend him. Could be some unintended consequences.
